Academic Biography
Prof. Dr. Eman EL-Sarag is a Professor of Agronomy and Plant Physiology at the Faculty of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences, Arish University. She has served as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and as Head of the Plant Production Department.
Her academic career has been dedicated to advancing crop productivity under environmental stress conditions, particularly in arid and semi-arid ecosystems. She has led and participated in numerous research initiatives focusing on irrigation management, salinity adaptation, nano-fertilizer technologies, and sustainable crop systems.
She has collaborated with national and international institutions and has contributed extensively to scientific publishing, academic supervision, and research leadership in Egypt and abroad.
Research Philosophy
Her research philosophy centers on bridging physiological plant science with applied agricultural innovation. By integrating rigorous statistical design, field experimentation, and biotechnology approaches, she aims to enhance crop resilience, improve water-use efficiency, and promote sustainable food production systems in climate-vulnerable regions.
